Dental implants

THE IDEAL SOLUTION FOR MISSING TEETH

For patients who are missing one or more teeth, dental implants are an ideal solution. A dental implant is a titanium post that is implanted into the jawbone to serve as an anchor for a porcelain crown (replacement tooth). Unlike bridges or dentures, dental implants connect to your jawbone in a similar way to your natural tooth. The implant fully integrates into your jawbone and helps to preserve the health of your bone structure. Another benefit of dental implants is that they look completely natural.

Your Dental Implant Treatment

Dental implant and replacement tooth treatment is done in two stages. First, the dental implant is placed into the bone. Once the bone has had time to bond to the implant, the dentist will perform the second stage of the treatment by placing a support post on the implant, which will attach to the porcellian replacement tooth.

Patients receive customized local anesthesia and may request conscious sedation during the procedure to guarantee their comfort. With your procedure, you should experience very little impact on your daily life. Most patients are able to go back to work and engage in normal activities the next day.
