MEET YOUR CARE TEAM

Dr. Lisa Ravenel

Periodontist

Dr. Lisa Ravenel is a Greenville-area native who’s keen interest in physiology and pathology became evident to her in her early 20’s.   After completion of her degree in Biology from the University of South Carolina – Columbia, Dr. Ravenel continued to earn her doctorate in Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina and afterwards was accepted into her specialty program in periodontics at MUSC in Charleston while also completing her Master’s in Health Sciences. Dr. Ravenel is a member of various organizations, including the American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, and the Southern Academy of Periodontology.  What she loves most about the specialty is the science-based nature of every treatment or surgery. Each surgery is different and the challenge is to determine what components are needed for success with each procedure.

Dr. Ravenel met her loving husband of more than 25 years in dental school. She is the proud mother of three boys, and she spends most free time with her family, visiting nearby Lake Keowee, and planning last minute mini-vacations.  The Ravenels  enjoy church, movies, sporting activities outdoors, and being with family and friends. Dr. Ravenel adores animals – all of them!  If she could only choose one thing to see later in life, it is to see her children grown living happy and intentional lives, never taking the small things for granted and remembering happiness comes from being true to God’s plan for you.

Core values instilled from early on have filled my heart with desire to help others, try to give more than you take, and to count your blessings by paying it forward.

Heather Ann Cirilo

Practice Performance & Patient Relations Coordinator

Heather is originally from South Florida, but after spending most of her life in Greenville, she proudly calls the area home. She comes to the periodontal field after many years in veterinary medicine, where she discovered her passion for caring for others- whether they had two legs or four. One of the first things that drew her to this practice was its warm and welcoming atmosphere, but Marlee (our office dog) instantly sealed the deal by making her feel right at home.

Heather's transition into human healthcare was also shaped by her daughter’s early arrival and the months they spent together in the NICU. That experience gave her a deeper appreciation for compassionate care and inspired her to pursue a role where she could support others in a new, but equally meaningful, way.

Outside the office, you'll find Heather enjoying time with her husband, their daughter, and their two dogs. As a family, they love exploring the outdoors, trying new restaurants around Greenville, taking frequent trips to the zoo, and traveling whenever they get the chance.

Marlee Mae Ravenel

When she's not at work she loves doing on car rides, getting pup cups, or spending time with Dr. Ravenels' three kids and her other pets.
